10th Mountain Division Reunion  [Posted 8/27/07]
10th_2 copy.gifLCMA's Windjammers Jazz Orchestra performed at the Marriott Denver Tech Center August 2-3, 2007, for what will be the last national reunion organized by World War II veterans of the 10th Mountain Division. In honor of the troops, the Windjammers performed a special arrangement of "Bell Bottom Trousers" which the 10th Mountain Division renamed "90lbs of Rucksack" with their own lyrics, and led by Congressional Medal of Honor Winner Earl Clark. The Castle Rock Orchestra is an adult community orchestra based in Castle Rock, Colorado. The ensemble will be rehearsing at the Castle Rock Elementary School, 1103 Canyon Drive, Castle Rock, CO, on Sundays from 2pm to 4pm beginning August 19, 2007.
